PSP Homebrew Round Up
Okay so with all the comments on the “Retrospective Articles” asking for hack news. I saw it fit to inform all of the PSP owners out there about all the lesser know homebrews that have been released for the PSP in the last couple of months.
Syobon Action: B3
Okay, so for any of the platformer fans out there, you’ll be delighted to know that DanielBRs’ cool Mario inspired Platformer homebrew game “Syobon Action” has reached its’ third release. This new release of the Japanese inspired platformer includes some cool changes. The game has been optimised to run at 133mhz meaning that you will now be able to play the game for much longer while on the go. This cool homebrew platformer also has a new Signed release meaning that anyone lucky enough to have a PSP can enjoy this whether they have hacked their PSP or not.
Just remember that this game is a platformer, and even though you’re playing as a cat, this might take more than nine lives to beat.
Prometheus Online for the PSP 1000
The amazing developer “Coldbird” from “Pro Team” has done the unthinkable and managed to squeeze an extra 4mb of RAM from those old and dusty PSP 1000 consoles. This means that you can now Prometheus Online on your PSP 1000. Enjoy it.
PSP DarkSpeed Final
Amazing PSP homebrew Developer “The Z” has released what looks to be the final version of his nifty homebrew application DarkSpeed. Installing DarkSpeed allows you to quickly boot into an lcfw by adding a custom icon to your PSPs’ XMB. Who needs permanent CFW eh? This speedy application is especially useful for users rocking a PSP GO or E1000.
